Anna & Neel

If there was a competition to be the most happy and in-love couple I have ever photographed, Anna & Neel would win hands down. Neither of them could wipe the smile off their face all day and I have never seen a groom as excited as Neel was. They were married at St Patrick's Cathedral in Ballarat and as you'll see below we had a lot of fun taking the bridal party photos around the town afterwards. Anna and Neel, you are both such beautiful people and I feel extremely lucky to have met you and been chosen to photograph your day - all the best!

I love this shot - the father of the groom greeting the mother of the bride before the ceremony!
St Patrick's Cathedral in Ballarat - just stunning!
A moment captured between the bride and groom during the ceremony...
One of my favourite times to take candids during the day - following the ceremony when the bride and groom mingle among the guests.
A quick snap of the flower girl outside the church. I nearly screamed when I got this shot, I knew it was going to be a beauty! A low aperture has blurred the gravel background to give it a beautiful soft feel - proof that you don't need a studio and backdrop to take stunning portraits, nothing beats natural light!

We decided to have a little bit of fun with the leaves...
... after which Neel had to spend a few minutes getting them all out of Anna's hair and face! :)

I just love this shot of the boys all looking so happy - it really captures the mood of the day!
And to finish, a picture of the bridal waltz which Anna and Neel had obviously been working on - good job, guys!

Eva & Jason M-session

I was lucky enough to photograph Eva & Jason's wedding at Montsalvat back in November 2006, so I was absolutely thrilled when they told me a couple of months ago that they were expecting, and even more thrilled when they said that they wanted to do a maternity session to capture this special time for them. Eva was quite close to her due date at the time of the shoot but despite feeling exhausted she was up for anything and as you'll see from the photos, looked great! We tried a heap of things both indoors & outdoors, giving some of the images a lovely natural feel while others got more of a 'studio' look to them. Check out just some of their shots below, and don't miss our last shot for the day at the bottom which is one of my faves :) Eva & Jason, thanks so much for letting me share this with you - I can't wait to see the result!

James

I photographed little James a couple of months ago, and I don't think I've had a nine month old with so many awesome (not to mention cheeky!) facial expressions. I couldn't decide which photos to post so I've just added a heap of them!

And something different to finish, one of my favourites ...

Kasey & Nathan

Kasey and Nathan's day started out with a bit of rain but the skies cleared up just in time for their photos, phew! We had a ball mucking around in the gardens and then checking out some of the city lanes before heading off to the reception. Here's a few from their day ...
