Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I was away for most of January but am now well into work again in Feb and I have to say, it's fun to be back behind the camera and in front of the computer playing with photos again. Hope you all had a great New Year's Eve and a very relaxing January!

Okay, so before I go on I have to admit to a conflict of interest here because I'm about to blow someone's trumpet and just so everyone knows, she's a very good friend of mine... but I can't help it if one of my dearest friends is also exceedingly talented!

So ... yesterday I did a shoot with one of my best mates Debbie Wood who is fast becoming one of Melbourne's most sought after face painters. We had so much fun painting up her gorgeous son into a red hot tiger (as you can see from the photos, a very friendly red hot tiger!) and the pictures of him turned out so goddamn cute that I had to post a few. There's also one of my gorgeous little Poppy at the end with a tiny pair of angel wings painted on. If anyone is looking for a face painter for their next event or children's party, Deb is your girl, make sure you book her! Check out her website here - she has many other talents as well.

See, is not this the cutest tiger you've ever seen???
This is Toby trying to be a growling, angry tiger ... LOL!
... which obviously just wasn't going to work so we resorted to the friendly tiger look again....

And finally, Poppy being a total angel for her angel shot!

Merry Christmas!

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for making 2009 such a fun, fantastic year! As I look back over the months I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet so many special people, and photograph so many lovely days and moments - a feeling I tend to have at the end of every year. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Day tomorrow and get at least some time to put your feet up and relax over the next week. Fi x

Note: I will be taking a break from Christmas Day through to mid-January so any enquiries by either phone or email may not be responded to immediately but I will get back to people as soon as possible.

Carly & Jordan

Wow, when I look back on 09 I feel like I have had so many great weddings. By that I mean great couples coupled with great locations, and my last two weddings in 09 epitomised that. I am as always behind in my posting but here's the first one from last month that has to be one of my favourite locations of all time. Carly and Jordan were married at Allowyn in Yarra Glen which won Garden of the Year in 2008. You won't find much about it on the net yet because they haven't been open to the public for long, and this was the first wedding they've held there, but once word gets out I'm sure they will be run off their feet with bookings. There's not much to say about Carly and Jordan apart from the fact that both individually and as a couple they are as beautiful as where they were married.

Tummy Time!

I just had to post a few of these cute pics of Poppy & Gus, finally starting to enjoy some Tummy Time ... Can't believe they are 6 months in one week!

And my husband managed to snap a few pics of Poppy and I a week or so ago which I absolutely treasure as I'm so often behind the camera!

Andrew & Jenny

How nice is it to finally be having some beautiful sunny days! As much as we all love to get rain because we need it so much, there's something about sunshine that just invigorates and makes you want to smile! Here's a wedding from a few weeks back that was one of those days. Jen, I hope these will tide you over until we catch up next week! Enjoy! xo
