Anna & Paul

As soon as I met Anna and Paul I knew their wedding was going to be something special. As couples go they are two of the warmest, loveliest people I've met! And as weddings go, they had planned something very special that would mean a lot to themselves but also ensure their guests had an unforgettable day, and that's exactly what it was. They were married on their very own bush block in the Grampians, surrounded by the landscape and people that they love. It really was a perfect day. This is a big post but there were so many beautiful moments and details on their day I couldn't cut it down any more. Enjoy!

Paul getting some help with his kit!

These page boys were on fire all day! I think they had been told they were undercover spies from Scotland (or something along those lines) to get them happily into their kilts, and they totally went with it!

And joined by the gorgeous flower girls ...

I just love this profile of Anna, snapped in the bathroom while putting the finishing touches to her hair.

One of the gorgeous details on their block ...
And the stunning ceremony venue - the weather was perfect!
Anna & party arriving on the horse and carriage...

Captured this moment of the page boy wiping his nose with his tie - classic!

I am certain the horse was posing for this photo!

Anna proposed to Paul playing scrabble, so this was a theme throughout their wedding. One of their friend's had made a giant scrabble board for people to play with on the day, and as you can see they had some fun with it!
One of the guests, checking out what was underneath the groomsmen's kilts ...
They gave everyone a native plant to take home with them...
The stunning cake, decorated with Australian natives ...
Just some of the amazing food ...

Paul started off making the speeches ...
... and had to hand over to Anna as he got all teary.
Anna and Paul stayed in a teepee on their block for the wedding night. It had enough room for over 10 people and a fire inside, amazing!

Kerryn & Dave

Kerryn & Dave just wanted a big party with lots of friends and beer for their wedding, and that's exactly what they got! They are definitely one of the most fun couples I have photographed this year. Kerryn has the best laugh, and it was on tap all day along with the alcohol! Here are a few of my favourite shots...

The groom having some fun in the limo ...
They had a fantastic cupcake tower with their initials ...

The beautiful Ormond Hall was a great setting for their day, something different to the usual reception centre!

After the ceremony, the beer starting flowing straight away ...
Kerryn was continually cracking up through the speeches, which had pretty much everyone in stitches...
And a cute one to finish with ...

Liz & Aaron post wedding session!

How exciting! Liz and Aaron were married on Saturday but didn't have much time for photos and wanted to do something different so we decided to do another bridal session a couple of days after their wedding. Believe it or not they dragged themselves out of bed at 6.30am yesterday morning for this shoot!! Hats off to both of them for getting out of bed this early two days after their wedding AND being able to still look amazing! We had so much fun. We managed to get 5 minutes of beautiful sunrise before the clouds took over and the wind played havoc with us the whole time but these guys were brilliant through the whole thing, and as you can see we got some spectacular shots! Thanks guys for being so amazing (and for the wedding cake, it was divine!). Thanks so much also to Robin and Richard from Aumann's Orchard in Warrandyte for letting us use their property for this shoot - not only do they have spectacular scenery but they also sell the best fruit and veg for miles around Warrandyte! Every spring when the blossoms come out on their trees I dream about doing a shoot there so it was fantastic to be able to make it happen!

Stay tuned as I also haved heaps of great shots from Liz and Aaron's wedding at another amazing venue, Labassa, to post in the next few weeks, along with a heap of other weddings and portraits I am way behind on blogging - wedding season has arrived again so it's busy, busy, busy!
