Ainsley & Sam
Ainsley & Sam's wedding was at Stones, one of the most stunning reception venues in the Yarra Valley. And the two of them looked stunning to match! It was a hot day and we seemed to be continuously shooing away the flies, but that didn't stop us getting some beautiful pictures (okay, I may have had to photoshop out just a few flies in some of the images!). Ainsley & Sam, thanks for both being so lovely to work with - I hope you enjoy the photos and that they help you remember your wonderful day - the hot weather, flies and all!

Portraits
It feels like ages since my last post before Christmas. After a small break I've come back to a mountain of work so I've been struggling to find time to upload a few images. I've been dying to get a few portrait images up from pre-Christmas as I feel like it's been weddings, weddings, weddings for the past few months! So here are just a few of my favourites ....
These first few are of cheeky little Jackson. Sitting still was the last thing he wanted to do so we had a lot of fun catching him in all sorts of positions!

I love the look on his face here: " What do you mean I can't read upside-down?"

And I had to include this one at the end - this was my bracelet 5 seconds before it broke and the beads sprayed everywhere! Serves me right for giving it to him to play with :)
These few are of gorgeous little Amelie, who I think looks like an angel in this first image...
Having a break between poses ... I just love this one for her beautiful eyelashes.
And back to work!
And I can't go without including one of her gorgeous sister, Meleah...
I thought I'd include these as it shows you some of the different layouts that can be done with prints. One of the things I love about photography is all the great ways you can present images now.

And this is one of my favourite images from the last few months. This is little Poppy and she had the cutest face ever!

More weddings to come soon. Thanks for looking!

Adam & Katrina
This is one of my favourite weddings to date! Okay, so the fact that I already knew Katrina and Adam added to that, but I know that even if I hadn't, their day still would've brought me to tears (the speeches actually didn't leave a dry eye in the house). At the start of the day I thought we would get rained out as it bucketed down all morning, but the weather magically cleared by the afternoon making it a perfect day for their garden wedding. The flowers and details everywhere were just stunning (I went a little crazy with detail shots - I've included a few of them below!) and being in Portsea we were also able to take advantage of the beach for a few shots.
A & K I hope you enjoy the brief snapshot below! It's the last thing I've done before knocking off for a break over Christmas but I've been dying to get stuck into your shots and thought it would be a nice chrissy present for you both. See you in 2008!

Claire & Mathew
I met the lovely Claire a year or so ago when I photographed her best friend's wedding, so I was absolutely thrilled when she came back and asked me to shoot her day. Her and Mathew had a typically hot summer's day (although still technically spring) but the boys managed to sweat it out enough to get some great footy shots at the MCG to kick off the day ('scuse the pun) - check out Mathew's killer mark below! Then it was off to photograph the girls before heading to Holy Trinity in Kew, one of my favourite bluestone churches, and finishing up at the Fairfield Boathouse. Guys, thanks for being so lovely to work with, it was an absolute joy to share your day!
